Narrative Location

The location where we will shoot the narrative is at Araceli's house.

   

 

 

Script

There are fish in a tank on a counter top. Inside a country house with a view of the outside through a window, a living room, and a front entrance.  Two gold fish (girl & boy), a male frog, and a female plecostomus are in the tank. 

Female Goldie - “The cats are back!” Hear door close, Goldie starts darting around the tank and Male Gold swims towards the sound.

Male Gold - “You always say that Goldie. Look it’s just the Two Legs and some boxes”

Frogie - “Haha! It’s gets me every time! You know it’s Two Legs, but you. Haha! Still think it’s the cats!!”

Algae Eater Alie- “oh quiet now. Relax honey, there ain’t no cats. Breathe honey.” moves to the opposite side of the tank to see out towards the door.

Goldie - “Don’t laugh! It really could have been.” turns n looks at Frogie n Gold.

Gold - “How many times do i have to say it? They aren’t coming back.” angrily looking at Goldie and sighs.

Frogie - “Yea. Yea. But just look at you freak! Haha!” swims towards the bottom of tank

Algae Eater Alie - “There’s something in those boxes. I wonder -“ readjusts herself on the tank wall. All look towards the entrance where the boxes are. Human is down on ground about to open the boxes.

Goldie - “It’s the cats! IT IS! I know it is!” resumes her frantic swimming around the tank.

Gold - “IT IS NOT THE CATS. Would you just calm down before you hurt yourself?” looks towards Goldie, shaking his head (as best as a fish can).

Algae Eater Alie- “oh no”

Frogie - “It IS Midnight and Fluffers!” looking pleased smiling. Goldie turns to Gold and gives him a dirty look.

Goldie - “ I TOLD YOU! It’s the cats”

Gold - “Be quiet!!” turns away from Goldie

Goldie - “Don’t shush me! I TOLD YOU!” resumes frantic swimming and then darts into the rock cave and hits her head. “ouch!”

Frogie - “HAHAHA!” starts rolling/rocking as he laughs

Algae Eater Alie - “oh lord” rolls her eyes.

Words Phrases

1. “the cats are back” - a friend said this while explaining that their parents are back in town.  For a while they said the phrase “while the cats away the mice will play”; referencing their parents as the cats.
2. “I pulled out my brain and my subconscious” a student describing a class i presume, I over heard this in an art class.
3. “we still want to play with copper” In art class, talking about how the teacher hasn’t talked about the next art techniques that use copper plates for the class as a whole.
4. “you better love me” at a jimmy johns. A girl said this to one of the employees, then 10 minuets later she came back in the store and dropped off a bag from Wendy’s (I think).
5. “If you really cared about me then you would have tried harder to find a home for Jessi” Jessi is a dog. Said in an argument. For a year my boyfriend and I have been helping this guy out with a place to stay, rides to work, and ect; in the end we did too much to help this jerk. Just this past weekend, they were evicted because the landlord found out this guy’s dog, Jessi, was at the house and he blames us for the eviction.

Documentary Idea's

1. Moniques Rosales - A good friend of the family and we met almost a year and a half ago.She is studying for a masters in sociology right now.  Her reason behind her field is due to a personal experience similar to Justina Pelletier and Isaiah Rider's; they are/were victims of state custody battles due to doctor claims of "medical neglect".  She as been an activist and involved in both of these children's cases through the social media (facebook) and phone calls to the families.

2. Melissa Searcy - I've known her for years; speaking on and off. She and her husband, Mark, are disabled and still have two kids at home. Even with tight finances she still donates to local charities. Not money donations, but with fundraisers: themed hair ties!












3. Barbara Smith - This is my mother and she has had an interesting life; from an Amish home to a army nurse, and now a business owner. the documentary would be about her life focusing on highlights such as tight finances as a child, how she joined the military, how she met my dad, how she started the business, and finally present day.
